CHATHAM ARTS GUILD CHATHAM MILLS ART FESTIVAL
Rethreading Futures
Creating new beginnings for a historical Chatham Textile mill and victims of family violence.
Chatham Arts Guild
The historic Chatham Mill in Pittsboro opened in the 1920s and operated for 70 years as one of the largest woven silk label mills in the world until it was shut down in 1996. After an extensive renovation, the mill reopened as a performing arts and events center in 2011. The grand opening event was an Art and Music Festival benefiting Family Violence & Rape Crisis Services of Chatham County —bringing new futures to both the mill, the community, and families in need.
Petrie Creative helped kick off and support this event with a campaign of captivating visuals and marketing materials that led to its groundbreaking success.
